The company

Digitron, founded in 1979, is a private subcontracting company specializing in high quality electronic subassemblies for medical, telecommunications, computers, industrial and civil markets.

Company founder, owner and President  is Mr. Gideon Matas, who has more than 40 years of experience developing and producing. Digitron was founded in order to promote and serve the growing Israeli electronics industry, and became one of the first EMS companies in Israel.

During its 34 years of operation, the company provided its services to manufacturers in the fields of medical equipment, telecommunications, computers and cellular phones, and RF assemblies.

Our aim is to provide full in-house support to all electronic assemblies, from wire to end products.

The company today operates seven major subassembly lines, using state-of-the-art automatic equipment:

Component assembly and PCB printing, including SMT systems,
    using an advanced reflow soldering ovens, AOI and a wave soldering
    machine.
Wiring racks, panels and complete units, including specific test
    benches, for High Preformance applications and industrial production.
Development and productions of bed-of-nails fixtures for in-circuit and 
    computerized functional testing
Wiring racks and equipment using a wire wrap system.
 A Full turnkey solutions for the medical, High Preformance and civil markets.

All our products are meticulously manufactured according to clients' requirements, as well as industrial, medical and High Preformance standards (IPC-610,IPC-620, J-STD-001 Classes I/II/III etc).

 
Our Quality Assurance system also handles environmental tests, as part of the manufacturing process.

Digitron's 80 employees are all certified electronics professionals, with extensive experience and knowledge of various electronic applications.
